PET Disadvantages:
Construction difficulty: PET liner is very easy to produce offset marks and scratches when used at high temperatures or during repeated construction, and many problems are irrecoverable once they occur. We recommend using defoamer and surface wax on the scraper during installation. The Paper Liner is easy to apply and resists offset and scratches.
Construction environment: PET liner easily generates static electricity when removing the protective film and release bottom, so the requirements for the construction environment are very high. It must be dust-free or close to dust-free (or other methods that can solve static electricity), and the Paper Liner does not have high requirements on the construction environment.
Storage environment: PET liner warehouse storage materials have higher standards. It is extremely easy to cause tunneling due to improper storage and is easily deformed after cutting. Paper Liner does not have these concerns.

Yes. All vehicles must be free of dust, dirt, wax, oil and other contaminants that may prevent the vinyl from adhering directly to the vehicle's paint surface during installation.

It is recommended to use a heat gun for the fastest and best results.

During the removal process it is important to heat the vinyl using a heat gun to a temperature of up to 50°C. Pay special attention to painted plastic parts and repainted areas of the car body. It is the customer's responsibility to determine the suitability of self-adhesive vinyl to the surface to which it will be applied.
The time it takes to remove vinyl is affected by many factors, such as the time since application, whether the trim is exposed to the outdoors or indoors, the type of surface, the temperature of the room and surface, etc.

The best maintenance method is regular cleaning. When there is dirt, bird droppings (especially on horizontal surfaces), or fuel spillage after rain, the membrane surface should be rinsed quickly or wiped with detergent immediately. When washing your car, we recommend using a high-pressure washer (less than 2000 ps) or hand washing. Before using a foaming cleanser, make sure to rinse away as much dirt and grit as possible with water. Do not wash your vehicle in an automatic car wash at a gas station to clean your vehicle.

It is ok, high-quality polishing, use a dual-action polisher at low speed and do not use any abrasive polishes or abrasive compounds on the film. It is recommended to use a high quality spray wax after washing your car to maintain or even extend performance life. Please test the polish or wax on a small area of the film before applying to the entire vehicle. Please keep in mind that we do not offer a warranty if the film is damaged by any aftermarket products (i.e. waxes, polishes, ceramic coatings.

It is recommended to store it in a garage or a cool place (if there is no garage) on a daily basis. The longer it is exposed to sunlight and outdoor conditions, the service life of the color-changing film will be shortened. At night, if possible, the vehicle should be protected from weather conditions such as dew or rain. If there is no garage, a cloth car cover can also provide good protection.

When you are going to wrap a complex curves such as bumper, lips, mirrors, and any curves parts and any parts that receive mass amount of heat, you must use a 3M primer 94 to reduce the risk of peeling. If you do not use this application, there are chances that the vinyl will peel after air and water goes into the vinyl. If you feel like that the vinyl does not stick on your part when you wrap, that's mean it is the time that you must use this application to help you.

3M™ Tape Primer 94 can be used to promote adhesion of 3M tapes to surfaces such polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS, PET/PBT blends, concrete, wood, glass, metal and painted metal surfaces.

After the construction of vinyl wrap film is completed, the glue has not completely adhered to the paint surface. It is recommended not to wash the car within 3 days (you can use a wet fiber rag to clean), and try not to drive on the highway (or drive at a speed below 80km/h).
If the following situation occurs, please clean or handle the vehicle in time, otherwise the vehicle film will be damaged:
1. Insect corpses, bird droppings, gums, and obvious rainwater scales adhere to the film surface and are exposed to high temperatures.
2. The film surface is attached to the air-conditioning water after splashing on the floor, and is exposed to high temperatures;
3. The flying paint from spray paint adheres to the film surface and is exposed to high temperatures;
4. A large amount of oil stains discharged from the range hood adhere to the membrane surface and are exposed to high temperatures;
5. After running on the highway and a large number of insect corpses are attached to the surface of the car film; when cleaning the car immediately, wait until the vehicle temperature is at room temperature. Do not spray chemical agents such as insect corpse remover on the surface of the film when the film is at high temperature. Otherwise, the membrane surface will be damaged immediately.
6. For vehicles that have been installed with vinyl wrap film, try to avoid sticking the suction cup directly on the film surface, otherwise it will leave suction marks. Wedding car ribbons, firecrackers, fireworks, dyes, etc. can easily cause staining on the membrane surface. If stained, clean it up in time to prevent the membrane surface from penetrating and staining.

PET Liner vinyl wrap backing is made of plastic PET, and the surface of the film is flat and smooth, whether it is matte or glossy. It is not easy to produce orange peel lines, but it requires the installer to have high installation skill and relevant experience.

After cutting the material, it is recommended to remove the PET protective film immediately. If the PET protective film continues to remain on the rest roll, the "TUNNEL PROBLEM" effect will occur because the tension between the PVC film substrate and the PET protective film and the PET release bottom is unbalanced; Due to the large tension of PET film caused by arching, this will damage the PVC material and destroy the adhesive backing, resulting in the waste and loss of the film; Therefore, it is recommended that after unpacking and pasting, the remaining material needs to peel off the PET protective film, or pay attention to tying the remaining material when slitting, so as to reduce unnecessary loss, if the protective film is not removed after opening, the back will arch up and deform with stripe marks
